Our food pantries are experiencing an influx of requests at this time and are in need of donations. Contact the location nearest you for assistance or to see how you can donate and/or serve.
- Cedar Lake

Holy Name: 11000 W 133rd Ave, Cedar Lake
We provide food for those in need, every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 4:45 - 5:45 p.m.
- Chesterton

St. Patrick: 638 N Calumet Rd, Chesterton
Anyone in need of a meal can stop by our "Table of Plenty" on Friday's at Chapel Hall from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
- Crown Point

St. Mary: 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point
We are open the third Saturday of each month from 8:00 -10:00 a.m. We are not exclusive to Crown Point. Our clients come from surrounding communities as well.
St. Matthias: 101 W Burrell Dr, Crown Point
We are open on Nov. 22 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. for "Pick Seven." No proof of residency, each person receives 7 items.

St. Joseph: 440 Joliet St, Dyer
We are open on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Non-perishable food items are distributed twice that day. First distribution is at 10:00 - 12:00 p.m., second distribution is at 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Proof of residency is required for newcomers.

St. Patrick: 3802 Grand Blvd, East Chicago
We are open every 4th Thursday of the month (except this month) for our "Food for Seniors" from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Must be a senior, and proof of ID is required. For more information or questions, contact David Vargas at 219-427-7843.
Our "Community Meal" is FREE for everyone, with no requirements or proof of residency required. We provide hot lunches every 2nd Saturday of the month from 11:30 - 2:30 p.m.

St. Mary of the Lake: 6060 Miller Ave, Gary
We are open on the 3rd Monday of each month from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. We provide supplemental food, distribute groceries and supplies to the community from Lessard Hall (next to the church). Proof of residency from either Lake or Porter County, Indiana, is required.
Ss. Monica and Luke: 645 Rhode Island Ct., Gary
We provide food assistance for Lake County, IN residents every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help: 7132 Arizona Ave, Hammond
We offer food assistance either with food delivery or pickup for the Hessville neighborhood of Hammond only. For more information or questions, contact 219-845-7531.
St. Casimir: 4340 Johnson Ave, Hammond
We are open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 219-933-0100.
St. John Bosco: 7113 Columbia Ave, Hammond
Our food pantry delivers once monthly by request and serves within the following boundaries: 175th, Chestnut, Columbia Ave and 173rd. For more information, call 219-844-2975.
St. Joseph: 5304 Hohman Ave, Hammond
We are open Monday - Friday from 12:00 -1:00 p.m.. We provide packed bag lunches and pass them out at the Soup Kitchen door.
St. Margaret Mary: 1445 Hoffman, Hammond
At this time, we are only offering the opportunity for people to leave non-perishable food items inside the church by the door. Anyone in need of that food may take it.

Our Lady of Grace: 3025 Highway Ave, Highland
Our site serves as a food distribution site for the Food Bank of NWI's Mobile Market. This takes place every 2nd Friday of the month. In November and December this year, it will take place every 1st Friday of the month.
St. James the Less: 9640 Kennedy Ave, Highland
Provides food assistance for those in from Highland, Schererville, Griffith and Munster on Friday's from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Serves areas associated with the parish, Ss Cyril and Methodius and All Saints. There is a limit of five non-perishable food items and the food pantry is open on the last Saturday of each month from 10:30 - 12:00 p.m. For more information or questions, call 574-249-0162.

Those interested in donating non-perishable food items for those in need of assistance, can leave items outside on church bench. Those who are in need of assistance can collect those items and take home with them at any time.

Sacred Heart Food Pantry: 130 Bach St., LaPorte

Those in need of food can receive it on the second Thursday of each month. If you are in need of assistance or would like to volunteer, please call 219-769-2177. Food donations can be dropped off at the OLC Parish Office.

Sacred Heart Food Pantry: 326 W. 10th St., Michigan City
Sacred Heart Food Pantry can be visited once a month per family. Proof of residency is required. Open Wednesday 9:30 to 11:30 a.m and Friday 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Student Center: Porter County, 1511 Laporte Ave, Valparaiso
Cafe Manna is an outreach soup kitchen that serves those in the community who are in need by providing them with a warm meal and hospitality. Cafe Manna serves anyone, whether they are physically hungry, in need of companionship, or trying to stretch their food budget. They serve every 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Thursday of the month (excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and News Years Day this year). For more information or questions, contact 219-464-4042.
