Are you passionate about leading young people into a deeper relationship with Christ? Do you have the creativity, energy, and leadership skills to build a vibrant, Christ-centered youth ministry?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of passionate adult and student leaders to shepherd small groups
- Foster ongoing spiritual formation and team unity through regular leader meetings and mentorship
Youth Ministry Programming
- Plan and lead engaging quarterly spiritual development sessions for high school youth.
- Oversee and lead Youth Alpha, Youth Rescue Project and Connect (small) Groups in coordination with parish-wide programs.
Retreats & Events
- Coordinate all aspects of our annual Steubenville Youth Conference trip, including marketing, logistics, finances, chaperones, and post-retreat engagement.
- Assist with Confirmation prep and retreats
- Provide vision and oversight for the Diocesan run Totus Tuus, which is hosted at SJE
Communications and Administration
- Manage Youth Ministry’s presence in parish communications, including bulletin announcements and social media platforms.
- Ensure all events are well-publicized and aligned with the mission of the parish.
- Manage the Youth Ministry budget effectively, ensuring responsible use of parish resources.
- Maintain clear records and planning calendars for all ministry activities.

- Experience leading youth ministry programs and/or retreats preferred
