About the Presenter

Dr. Mark Ginter has been married to Diane for over three decades. They are blessed with seven children, including two sets of twin boys. Four of their children are married. They have seven grandchildren, and nine godchildren. Presently, Mark serves dioceses in the southern and midwestern regions of the United States as well as Eastern Catholic eparchies as a Strategic Partnership Liaison Fellow of Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Catechetical Institute. He has taught at every level of formal education, including sixteen years at two major seminaries. With a PhD in Theology and Psychology from Marquette University, his academic publications analyze the writings of St. Symeon the New Theologian (949–1022), Yves Cardinal Congar, OP (1904–1995), and Pope St. John Paul II (1920–2005). Mark has spoken often and written numerous catechetical materials that hand on the Deposit of Faith through kinesthetic learning and a principle called “sticky ideas,” which focuses on communicating ideas that are easy to receive, easy to retain, and affect an individual’s life.
