* Under Pope Francis’s Vos estis lux mundi and the Directives of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the following forms of misconduct by bishops should be reported using this dedicated reporting system:
- Forcing someone, by violence or threat or through abuse of authority, to perform or submit to sexual acts
- Performing sexual acts with a minor or a vulnerable person
- The production, exhibition, possession or distribution, including by electronic means, of child pornography, as well as by the recruitment of or inducement of a minor or a vulnerable person to participate in pornographic exhibition
- Actions or omissions intended to interfere with or avoid civil investigations or canonical investigations, whether administrative or penal, against a cleric or a religious regarding the misconduct referred to in 1-3 above.
* Según el Vos estis lux mundi del Papa Francisco y las Directivas de la Conferencia de Obispos Católicos de los Estados Unidos, las siguientes formas de mala conducta por parte de los obispos deben informarse utilizando este sistema de informes específico:
- Forzar a alguien, mediante violencia o amenaza o mediante abuso de autoridad, a realizar o someterse a actos sexuales
- Realizar actos sexuales con un menor o una persona vulnerable.
- La producción, exhibición, posesión o distribución, incluso por medios electrónicos, de pornografía infantil, así como mediante el reclutamiento o la incitación de un menor o una persona vulnerable a participar en una exhibición pornográfica.
- Acciones u omisiones destinadas a interferir o evitar las investigaciones civiles o canónicas, ya sean administrativas o penales, contra un clérigo o un religioso con respecto a la mala conducta mencionada en 1-3 arriba.
