Parishioners and guests gathered to celebrate St. Edward parish's 150th anniversary Sunday in Lowell. Mass had limited in-person attendance to conform to COVID-19 safety precautions. A catered picnic followed. Most Rev. Robert J. McClory, Bishop of Gary, said, "People of faith came here 150 years ago and passed the faith on. Those 150 years link to 2,000 years of (Church history). Now we know this legacy is ours to pass on to others."
