GARY | Faithful from the Diocese of Gary gathered for a 7 a.m. prayer service on Sept. 9 to start a day of prayer and fasting for peace and unity and an end to racism.
Most Rev. Robert J. McClory, Bishop of Gary, led the prayer service. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament followed, with Benediction and Mass scheduled that evening.
