WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE TRAINING?
To equip evangelists and send them out to spread the Gospel message within their parish communities, focusing on the New Evangelization to those who are in need of being re-introduced the Jesus Christ.

THE TRAINING
The cost of the year-long training is $100. These sessions will be held at the Diocese of Gary’s Pastoral Center Offices in Merrillville in the Fall from September 19, 2022 – December 5, 2022 for seven evenings from 6-8pm, and in the winter/spring from January 16, 2023 – April 3, 2023 for seven evenings from 6-8pm. In addition to the training sessions, each participant will be asked to do a practicum of his or her own choosing. Practicum opportunities will be offered and suggested throughout the year.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE TRAINING?
Upon completion of the year-long training, the participants will receive a certificate of completion at our annual evangelization conference and will be encouraged to go out into his or her own parish and within the Diocese of Gary to spread the Gospel message. The fee for the Evangelization Conference on April 29, 2023 is included in the cost of the Evangelization Training.
