Under the direction of the Diocesan Property Manager and Camp Coordinator the Facilities Technician performs:
- General and detailed maintenance and upkeep on Diocesan facilities such as: painting, building repairs and replacement, preventative maintenance on small machinery, HVAC systems, boiler pumps, etc.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical is required. High School diploma or GED and trade school required. This FT position is responsible for several locations within the Diocese of Gary including the Pastoral Center, Bishop’s Residence, Camp Lawrence and Cathedral of the Holy Angels.
