The Diocese of Gary has an exciting ministry opportunity for the following position:
Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction – A proven expert in current Indiana educational trends in curriculum and assessment. Implement and maintain the School Improvement Process including Accreditation. Develop a system-wide plan for curriculum study and improvement consistent with the diocese vision, goals, and policies. Work with principals and teacher committees in organizing and coordinating grade level and department meetings in order to effect horizontal and vertical integration and articulation of the instructional program throughout the diocese.
This position will work collaboratively with the Schools Office to further the mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Gary.
This Assistant Superintendent position requires a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Theology or Educational Leadership and must be an active, practicing fully initiated Catholic. State of Indiana administrator certification or meets criteria to qualify for state certification. Three to five years of experience in the field of educational administration in Catholic education.
