A Vision of this Ministry
The Director of Facilities and Grounds (Director) collaborates closely with the Pastor and with other members of the Parish, both paid staff and volunteers, in the overall management and maintenance of the parish’s buildings, grounds, and equipment to promote and live a model of Christian Stewardship. To faithfully steward the church’s buildings and grounds in a way that reflects the beauty, order, and excellence of God’s creation; to ensure every space is safe, functional, and inviting; and to create an environment where ministry can flourish, relationships can grow, and all who enter feel welcomed into the presence of God. Through diligent care, strategic planning, and a heart for service, the Director supports the church’s mission, empowers its ministries, and provides a physical foundation that inspires worship, fosters community, and advances the Kingdom for generations to come. Our Lady Queen of Martyrs currently includes the North and South Campus buildings and grounds, Aquinas Catholic Community School buildings and grounds, and St. Stephen the Martyr buildings and grounds.
