We are currently seeking candidates for a Student Information System (SIS) Application and Technology Specialist to administer the school information system (PowerSchool) for the Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.  Ideal candidate will support the principals and school staff of the school system through the administration and application of standards and best practices for the use of the school information system. 
Additional responsibilities in the areas of technical support, problem resolution, and vendor management.

Some essential duties of this role include system administration of the school information (SIS) adhering to diocesan standards and industry best practices to ensure a stable and high performing common SIS; serves as a liaison between schools within the school system and the Office of Catholic Schools for matters related to (SIS), Indiana Department of Education compliance and reporting; acts as a primary contact with the SIS vendor and Indiana Department of Education on data reporting elements; plans and provides training for Office of Catholic Schools staff and school staffs on the effective use of the SIS.

A Bachelor’s degree in education, technology or other related field with 2 years SIS application/system support experience desired with supporting certificates of training; advanced technical training preferred.  A commitment to the mission of Catholic education and ability to respect and uphold Catholic School teachings is desired with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
