Catholic Charities, Diocese of Gary, was established in 1937 as an organized response by the Church to provide and advocate for the physical, emotional, and social needs of the poor and vulnerable in Northwest Indiana. The diverse programs stabilize the current situation and then work with the individuals and families to create a plan for a brighter future for them.
Financial assistance and workshops, crisis pregnancy resources and counseling, a good pantry site, mobile, and pop-up pantries are a few of the many ways Catholic Charities helps our neighbors in need.
