On January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court of the United States legalized abortion. The Office for Pro-Life for the Diocese of Gary, IN, has implemented a Pastoral Plan for the Pro-Life activities. This campaign in support of life is supported by the US Catholic Bishops.
Reverend Theodore J. Mens is the Director of the Pro-Life Office. Father Mens is also the pastor of St. Mary Parish in Griffith, IN.
